Concerning the idea of the TOWN HALL OF PRAGUE "The Travelling Carillon of Prague" should be the pride of the City and the symbol of consistency of the City Quarters. The Lord Mayor of Prague Jan Kasl asked the Magistrate to participate in the project with the amount of 2,-CZK per 1 inhabitant. Forty-eight of the fifty-seven Prague Quarters accepted this issue. Therefore they have privilege of using the carillon twice a year for cost price only.

In compliance with the above mentioned the bells belong to the City Quarters, in the order from the biggest to the smallest bell:

Issues concerning the future ownership and financial costs on the operation and services of the carillon have not been solved yet. Nevertheless, company CARILLON Ltd. is able to fulfil the wishes of customers and organise concerts according to their wishes. " THE TRAVELLING CARILLON OF PRAGUE " is available all the year round.
